Hi, I'm Graham
I’ve had a unique career in culture, change and crises. After 20 years at the sharp end of Law and HR, coaching became second nature and then my passion. I specialise in important career moments. Clients who are faced with a challenge appreciate a safe space with someone who truly gets it.
I was Global Head of People Performance and Employee Relations at Freshfields, the international law firm. An employment lawyer by background, I practised at Clifford Chance and Freshfields before moving into a dual HR-Legal role. I was then the Director of the Resolution team at Byrne Dean, a workplace behaviour and inclusion consultancy. As well as coaching, I train organisations and work with senior executives to ensure they have the impact they want. My MSc is in Organisational Psychology-Behaviour.
Graham is simply a superb coach. His breadth of experience and depth of understanding are a magic combination that gets the absolute best from individuals and teams of any level or background. Any organisation looking to really develop high performance needs a Graham.

COACHING
Coaching is an alliance between equals. The work focuses on practical outcomes and lasting change. Expect a mixture of non-judgemental listening, support and challenge.
Every situation is different, so the approach is flexible. To ensure that you get the attention you deserve, I only work with a few clients.
He has deep insight, having been a fee earner at top-notch firms, an in-house lawyer and an HR leader. I have engaged Graham as a coach for one of my reports. He is focused on adding value and the person he worked with emerged with more clarity, confidence and direction as a result of his coaching.
Chief People Officer | Big Four
Graham has been a coach to me and many others for years. He has instant credibility and listens carefully, bringing welcome clarity and light. He encourages people to recognise their strengths with a balance of support and challenge that inspires them to think big for themselves. Astute and incredibly insightful, he sees things others don’t. If you get the chance to work with Graham, count yourself lucky.
Business Partner | Tech Leader
During the time we worked together in HR, he was a trusted, collaborative colleague and peer mentor. He regularly acted as a sounding board for challenging issues, providing thoughtful and practical insights. Graham took a values-driven approach to projects and had a passion for diversity, equity and inclusion.
